Peshawar is also known for its rich and flavourful traditional food with its unique and traditional cooking method that makes it a favourite and well known cuisine in the whole Pakistan. Here are few famous food items:

Chapli Kabab:

A spicy, flat kebab made with minced meat, onions,  special spices fried in animals fat (cow/ lamb) which gives the kebabs a distinct flavour and texture.

Mutton Karahi:

A popular Peshawari dish made with tender mutton pieces cooked in a flavorful and spicy gravy, typically prepared in a wok-like vessel called a “karahi.” The dish is known for its bold flavours, aromatic spices, and rich texture, often served with naan bread or rice.

Peshawari Kahwa:

Peshawari Kahwa is a traditional green tea from Peshawar, Pakistan. It’s known for its distinct flavor, aroma, and cultural significance. Peshawari Kahwa is often served as a sign of hospitality and is an integral part of social gatherings. The tea is typically green tea leaves brewed with spices like cardamom, and sugar mostly. Gur ka Sharbat:
